ROPE LADDERS FOR SALE

FIRE ESCAPE LADDERS

EMERGENCY ESCAPE LADDERS

Rope Ladders do not seem part of the security arsenal, but what do you do if you are caught in an upper floor situation?

Escape ladders are in short supply, not only in the market but also in the mind.

Most of us give little attention to rope ladders, which is an often overlooked, but vital piece of security equipment.

This, patent-pending, "rope" ladder rolls up into a small light-weight bundle and is ready to drop over a wall, a balcony or out of a window for easy and safe escape.

The ideal rope ladder is light-weight yet super-strong and safe.

Be sure to have a Metzco manufactured rope ladder installed now.

"Just for the hang of it"

SAFETY

Metzco emergency rope ladders are not made from rope, which is cumbersome and inclined to "tangle" easily, our ladders are made from high strength flat webbing and multi-reinforced and secured. In fact, each webbing strap can withstand well over 1 ton (1000kg) and we have four, super-stitched with high-tensile thread, tightly together! (feeling safe now?)

Our rungs are made from a very special fluted, double inner wall, ribbed, non-slip, anodised aluminium.

These rungs are "housed" in a quadruple, slip-proof, saddle stitched, sling-type, reinforced webbing which is then secured with 4 pop rivets on each and every rung. This ensures maximum strength and safety.

Each rope ladder is hand made by the owner of the company!!

Just as a sky-diver is paranoid about his parachute, so are we about our rope ladders!

Our rope ladders are hanging in some of South Africa's critical industries, such as mines in Gauteng, prestigious deep-sea divers in Durban and Walvis Bay in Namibia and even used by Cape Town's world famous Aerial Cableway Company.  Huge industries like Illovo Sugar have these ladders hanging from their cranes in Zambia. Metzco rope ladders are hanging on all the 2010 soccer stadiums in South Africa and too many others to mention!

Many wise and forward-thinking people are installing these ladders as a means for ensuring escape in time of emergency!!

These ladders could be mounted in high-rise buildings so as to afford escape, even from a 20 story sky-scraper.

Ask for special lengths, we manufacture to order. Exceptional quality.

Accessories are available for wall spacing or special fixing situations as well as loft or ceiling access via trapdoor.

Mounting is easy, quick and safe.

By using either rawlbolts into a wall via the punched holes or using sling shackles via the 70mm loops, your rope ladder will be stable and secure.

Leader end shackles
made from 8mm stainless steel
round bar

The holes in welded plate
facilitate rawlbolt mounting
to concrete or brick walls

                   D Shackle ends

          Snaphook ends with eyebolts

Use normal galvanised D shackles to secure mounting in awkward places. This mounting is fairly common on balustrade on balconies.

Or fix 8mm rawl eyebolts to inner window walls
and use carabiners for easy clip-on in an emergency
.

(Optional extras = Rawlbolts, bags, spacers)

FIRE ESCAPE

This is a typical home application where inside staircase is locked for security reasons and escape is impossible. Also critical in cases of fire.
